Pretty Printable Beach Wedding Invitations"Simple, fresh and modern beach wedding invitations"Beach weddings are becoming more and more popular and there's no surprise really when the backdrop of the ocean, sand and beautiful flowers is usually stunning. For your beach wedding invitations, why not choose something light and fresh like this seashorse design? Best of all, it's FREE! ![]() The design has been laid out to be as simple as possible so the focus is on the bride and groom's names. The pretty seahorse and the dotted border just finish off the invite nicely. The colours and fonts on these beach wedding invitations are completely customisable, so if they're not quite right for your wedding, feel free to change them to match your colours. This invitation is a free template that comes in MS Word, so you can easily print it out at home or work. I've printed this example out on white card stock. You can however print it out on any coloured card stock, so feel free to try out different colours. What you'll need:
With this invitation you literally amend the wording and print it out. It's as simple as that. The template comes in A5 (14.8cm x 21.0cm) or 5 1/2 x 8 inches and there's a matching thank you card too. I’d recommend printing it out on ‘smooth’ card as this will give the best finish. Try to use a heavy weight card if possible, ideally the maximum that will go through your printer. For the cheapest solution, print these on your home computer. If you don’t want to use all your ink up, then print out one on good quality paper and get a copy shop to print out or copy the invites on to your chosen card. They’ll also be able to trim them to size (if necessary) and give a professional finish (at a cost though). Warning! This invitation design uses some special fonts. So in order to view the invite on your computer, you'll need to download these. The main font used for the text is called Accord Light SF and the names of the happy couple are in Lucida Handwriting. Both of these fonts should be on your computer already. The seahorse illustration is a dingbat, which behaves like a special font. In order to see this when you download the template, you'll need to download it. The dingbat is called Ocean Iacy Dingbat. It's from Dafont.com and is free for your personal use as well. If you don’t know how to add a font to your computer, then follow these instructions (for Windows users only). Dingbats can be added in exactly the same way as a font. These beach wedding invitations have been created in Microsoft Word 97-2003, so you’ll need this package to read and amend the invite. There's no need for a separate insert with these wedding invitations. All the information is contained in the main body of text, however, you could include maps, details about accommodation and transport in the envelope with the invite too.
