Dingbats for invitations

You use a lot of dingbats in your wedding invitations, but I'm not sure what exactly they are. Can you explain what they are and how I can use them?

Answer:

Dingbats are little illustrations or vectra images that are converted into a font. You then download the font so when you hit a particular letter on your keyboard the dingbat, or illustration appears.

I use a lot of them as they're free. Anyone can you use them for their personal use, so they're great for you guys doing your own wedding invitations. I also use them because they're simple and easy to use.

Dingbats come in all sorts of designs from swirls, borders, dividers and motifs to little animals, people, machines and basically all sorts of things!
