The damask design has been handcrafted and is exclusive to Wedding Invitation Ideas.
The layout is clean and open with emphasis given to the bride and groom’s names. The invite is finished off with a pretty white vellum wrap and secured with a black organza ribbon - this gives the look of handmade wedding invitations.

What you’ll need:
- White card cut to the size of your chosen template
- White vellum or parchment paper – cut to size to allow a 4cm overlap
- 45cm black organza ribbon (30mm wide)
- Colour printer
- Glue to secure ribbon
This invitation is made up of one page with the vellum wrap and has been designed for a tall card. The template comes in two sizes, 3" x 8" and 8cm x 19.8cm. Just choose your size below.
I’d recommend printing out on ‘smooth’ white card as this will give the best finish. You can either buy sheet card and get it cut to size or buy ‘tall’ card blanks and cut them in half.
With this invite, you literally amend the details and print it out. Finish it off by cutting the vellum to size and adding your ribbon. You’ll need to tie this in a bow.

The font is a special font called Goudita Regular. In order to see the text on your computer, you’ll need to download it from www.fontsitez.com. It’s free to download for your own personal use. If you don’t know how to add a font to your computer, then follow these instructions (for Windows users only).
These wedding invitations have been created in Microsoft Word 97-2003, so you’ll need this to read and amend the invite.
With these handmade wedding invitations, there’s no need for a separate insert. All the information about the wedding is printed directly on to the card. You may want to put additional information (i.e. about the venue, parking, accommodation, etc) in the envelope with the invite.
