Ideas for Irish Wedding Favors

Miniature bottles of whiskey or Irish cream

Tie them up with a ribbon that matches your wedding�s theme, and you�re good to go. You might even be able to tag each bottle with a shamrock-shaped piece of cardstock that has the guest�s name written on it, which would make these great place markers as well as favors.

Traditional Irish tea

Ireland is known for its tea and regular tea time. You can order tea straight from the Emerald Isle online. Loose leaf tea tie in individual packages makes a pretty gift, but you might find tea bags a little less messy. You can package two or three tea bags in small white boxes tied with ribbons, or you can put them in tulle packages. Be sure to include instructions on how to make tea the traditional way if your guests don�t know how to make traditional Irish tea.

Whiskey or Irish cream filled truffles

You can actually create Bailey�s cream filled truffles on your own with a good recipe.

Traditional Celtic knots and designs are beautiful and interesting, and they can give any traditional wedding favor an Irish flavor. For instance, you can get small votive candles with Celtic designs on them. Another option is to get small picture frames outlined with Celtic knots. You can personalize such a favor by sliding in an engagement photo of the two of you.

St. Patrick�s Day sweets
