After loads and loads of browsing the internet for ideas, I decided to make my own wedding invitations - specially as I needed them to be bilingual and I wasn't findind anything. This is my final result and I am very pleased with it. It reflects me 100%. My guests have made many nice comments about them.

I got all the paper (envelopes and inserts) from a fantastic website I really recommend www.pdacardandcraft.co.uk. The brown velvet, the feathers and the "sparkling bits" are from ebay (velvet actually from China! as they don't sell 3mm width in the uk) and the lace I bought in a little shop in Spain, but could easily be found here. The hole puncher with leaf design is from Hobbucraft. I printed all the inserts at home.

I don't think the "how to make them" needs much explanation, as it's just a case of measure, cut and glue. You just need a bit of patience as there's lots of it!

I have made just under 100 for a total of £142 and it took me around 10 days.

I hope you like them! (even though the pics don't make them justice)
