Palm Tree Wedding Invitations

These palm tree wedding invitations are perfect for those getting married on the beach. The layout is sophisticated and elegant, yet a little bit quirky with the small palm tree in the middle.

The font has been chosen to add to the sophistication whilst being a little bit fun too. This creates a more relaxed invite.

What you'll need:

• White card cut to the size of your chosen template
• 30cm matching coloured ribbon
• Colour printer
• Glue to secure ribbon

This invitation is made up of one page and is designed for a tall card. The template comes in two sizes, 3” x 8” and 8cm x 19.8cm. Just choose your size below.

You literally print it out and add a colour co-ordinating ribbon. I’ve used a turquoise grosgrain ribbon that matches the colour of the palm tree.

The font is a special font called Garamond. It should be on your computer already. These printed wedding invitations have been created in Microsoft Word 97-2003, so you’ll need this to read and amend the invite.

With these palm tree wedding invitations, there’s no need for a separate insert. All the information is printed directly on to the card. I would suggest using a ‘smooth’ card blank and cutting it in half. This will give you your one page, at the correct size.

Download and make your palm tree wedding invitations now

1. To download your invitation, choose the size and click on the link. You'll be prompted for a username and password which you were given when you signed up for the newsletter. If correct, the document will automatically download. Save it to your desktop.
2. Amend the wording to match your wedding details
3. Cut your card to the size of your chosen template
4. Do a couple of trial runs to make sure that it looks ok
5. Print out the invites and finish off by tying a ribbon in a bow in the space at the top
6. Secure the ribbon in place with a little dab of glue. I used a roller glue as it's clean and looks tidy. You only need a little bit.
