Silver Wedding Invitation

We're having a sparkling silver wedding theme, so I made some silver wedding invitations. They're not totally silver, but they do have silver 'accents'.

They were easy to make as I just layered up the different papers and then created a belly band to go around the middle. Again, this was made up using layered paper. It really was just cutting and gluing.

The silver paper was actually wrapping paper! I used a tip off Nicola and used wrapping paper. It was quite thick and so worked really well and looked effective. It also went a lot further and was a lot cheaper than fancy scrapbook or craft paper.

Overall, I spent about £30 making the wedding invitations. The silver ribbon was the most expensive.
