Trendy Wedding Invitations
With Tulips

"I love the modern font on these trendy wedding invitations"

Trendy tulips wedding invitation
This tulip design is one of my favourites. It’s modern, fresh and very contemporary – plus at the moment tulips are very fashionable as wedding flowers.

If you’re having a spring wedding and you’re looking for something a bit different, then this trendy tulip wedding invitation is for you. The little motif is hand drawn and the reds are matched in the font and satin ribbon. A daring red, but with lots of white the invite is balanced.

The font is a special font called London and it's famous for being used on the London tube network. A very modern, open font – perfect for a contemporary style wedding.

Level of ease: Really easy
Cost: Around £25 ($45) for 50 invitations

What you’ll need:
- White card cut to the size of your chosen template
- 20cm of red satin ribbon 13mm wide
- Colour printer
- Hole punch

This invitation is made up of one page and is designed for a tall card. The template comes in two sizes, 3" x 8" and 8cm x 19.8cm. Just choose your size below.

You literally print it out and add a colour co-ordinating ribbon. I’ve used a silky satin ribbon that matches the colour of red tulips.

Warning!
For these trendy wedding invitations I've used a special font called London MM. You’ll need to download it in order to see the wording on the invite. You can download it for free from www.fonts101.com.

If you don’t know how to add a font to your computer, then follow these instructions (for Windows users only).

These printed wedding invitations have been created in Microsoft Word 97-2003, so you’ll need this to read and amend the invite.

I would suggest using a ‘smooth’ card blank and cutting it in half. This will give you your one page at the correct size. Alternatively you can get the card cut to size. Use a heavier weight paper if possible, just make sure it can go through your printer.

With these trendy wedding invitations, there’s no need for a separate insert. All the information is printed directly on to the card. Although you may want to put additional information about the venue, a map and accommodation in the envelope with the invite.
